3D data management system
Challenges
SMS group had different challenges:
- the migration of three existing Pro/INTRALINK systems to PTC Windchill PDMLink
- a cross-site 3D data management basis had to be created
- the changeover had to take place without affecting the operational business.
Results
Together with the SMS group, °ÄÃÅÅܹ·Í¼ implemented the PTC Windchill PDMLink platform in their system landscape. In order not to affect the productivity of SMS Siemag’s approximately 300 CAD users, the migrations were carried out in a period of only two months, over three weekends.
The project was successfully completed on time and within budget thanks to the experience and dedication. All affected SMS Siemag sites were connected and can now access a central database.
