Ansys Fluent Getting Started – Part 2

Course Description

This course is part of a two course sequence. It builds on the skills learned in Ansys Fluent Getting Started – Part 1, to enable students to become proficient in performing basic CFD simulations. It is strongly recommended that students complete both parts of the course.

Course Content

This course builds on the skills gained in the Ansys Fluent Getting Started - Part 1 course, adding basic CFD topics such as working with parameters and CFD best practices, and providing further instruction in fundamental topics such as turbulence and heat transfer. Students will also extend their preprocessing skills in Ansys SpaceClaim and Ansys Meshing, and additional hands-on exercise sessions involving end-to-end CFD workflows will build confidence and proficiency in performing simulations with Ansys Fluent.

Prerequisites:

A technical education and background in fluid mechanics and heat transfer is recommended but not mandatory. An engineering degree is not required.
